Qalaat Faqra , or ruins of Faqra is an archaeological site of Lebanon , located in Kfardebian encompassing a set of ruins of the Roman and Byzantine era. The site is located on Mount Lebanon at an average altitude of 1500 m in the foothills of Mount Sannine.It is one of the most important sites in the Nahr El-Kelb Valley region, on the UNESCO World Heritage Indicative List .
The ruins are divided into three sectors: The tower, the small temple and the great sanctuary. The last two sectors have undergone several restorations since the 19th century while the tower has remained intact since .
The deities honored at Qalaat Faqra are the topical god Zeus Beelgalasos , the goddess Atargatis and the Zeus of Heliopolis
